Oswego
Today
was a bit of a drag. We had to stay in the marina or if the
immigration had their way on the boat itself for a whole day.
Immigration people were not unreasonable at all, at least
we didn't have to sail back to Toronto to get their I-64 or
whatever they call this green note they stick in your passport
at the border. But we still had to wait all day for someone
to show up and that agitated both of us. Our moods were not
the greatest this day.
I
worked my little polish butte off to get everything ready
for mast unstepping.
Finally
the immigration dude came in. He was the man on which the
movie "US Marshals" based it's lead character -
I am sure of it. We were delighted to have our visas processed
without any further complications and our moods were instantaneously
better. We celebrated our "legality" by leaving
marina and visiting the town and our customary visit to the
dollar store. Have you seen our video
clip from dollarama yet? (M)
