Hudson - By The Castle
The river
gets very wide and very beautiful. High cliffs, tree covered
mountains, eagles, lighthouses set up on little rocky islands
dividing river. Hudson getspretty wide to my enjoyment since
Johannes voiced couple of days ago his disappointment with
the size of this river. Sometimes it's not the size that matters
but we won't go there...
We dropped
the hook for the night right by the beautiful castle on the
island. We hoped to get on the island, but since we don't
have a dinghy, we'd have to swim. Naaa....
Trains
are really bothering us by now. The run alongside the Hudson
connecting Chicago with New York and blowing their horns like
mad. All day, all night, again and again.
We tried
our luck with fishing - but nothing. I realized simple and
basic similarities of hunting for a fish and a woman. Here
it comes: you have to have the right bait on the hook. I'll
leave you with this wisdom for the night as we rock on the
shaky winds and tidal movements, and why the heck we didn't
fix those cables in the mast that are bagging like crazy all
night and did I mentioned the trains!!!?!!*$@
