Alligator Creek GA
Once
again our friends from Summer Slopes caught with us while
anchoring on the side of the channel waiting for the tide
change. Jim had a good chuckle since this reinforced his somewhat
found belief that we anchor anywhere anytime we feel like.
We agreed to meet up at Alligator Creek for the night.
Problem
with meeting people on anchorage is that no one wants to bother
lowering or inflating a dinghy to do any socializing. Everybody
is tired and ready to chill out and call in an early night.
So it was this time. We chatted over the VHF radio a bit but
haven't done anything else. Sadly it would be a last time
for us to see Summer Slopes, for now anyway, since in Florida
we would make very slow progress as we stay in towns few days
at the time to enjoy the beaches, cool places and kill some
time before Kelley arrives to Miami.
Johannes
engaged in the art of hair cutting and we were both better
for it the next day sporting new sharp hair cuts. I think
this was the time when I started to experiment with my facial
hair, letting some shrubs grow free on my chin.
