Happy
Thanksgiving!
God
is good. We are being shown great Southern Hospitality and
I am sure we've packed on a few pounds already. The food is
great and we just love the people from Kelley's church - we
can't get enough of them!
We
live four of us in a Kim's apartment - all to ourselves which
is an added bonus since we can just chill together around
the pool and I can also go to the gym whenever I feel like
to get some exercise We're loving it. Even simple things like
running water, beds, chairs and space to walk around make
a nice brake from the confinements of our sailboat which is
safely tucked away at Randy's place in Key Largo. That we
have a great place with leather couches, air conditioning,
pool surrounded with the palm trees, hot tub, sauna (who would
use that here?!) and gym are all too amazing for us. What
a great place. We are blessed beyond any expectations we may
had.
We
are also watching tones of movies and generally relaxing and
taking it slow, but today we had a Thanksgiving dinner at
Kelley's sister Kim, who lend us her apartment.
Speaking
of food, Laurie send us a little surprise from Toronto. She
gave Kelley some cash to take us out for a steak. Well, Kell
and her mom drove us to this very posh (and expensive I may
add) restaurant where we were served first class meal which
would go down to history as one of the most fine meals we
had. I'll have mercy on my readers here and spare the details
least you all slide off your chairs with watering mouths!
It's
crazy how relaxing and comfortable we are right now. It's
almost hard to think that in not too long we'll open completely
new chapter in our journey where all those comforts may soon
be but a memory. But for now we'll take it all! Kelley we
love you and your family and your church. Thank you all for
making it so amazing!
